The advance required to cover the costs of the adaptation of contracts proceedings shall be paid to CEPANI prior to the appointment or the approval of the nomination of the independent third party. This advance shall be fixed by the secretariat in consultation with the appointed third person and due regard being given to the nature and scope of his mission.

This amount is increased by 10% to cover the administrative expenses of CEPANI. The whole represents the advance on adaptation of contracts costs.

At the end of the procedure, the secretariat of CEPANI asks the independent third party to hand over a statement of his costs and expenses suffered during the adaptation of contracts procedure. After the Secretariat has received that statement, the Secretariat deducts the costs and expenses of the third person from the amount it has at its disposal to pay the fees of the third party. The third party receives this amount as fees.

The Secretariat informs the independent third party on the state of his balance of costs and fees. The Secretariat will ask him to send an account for the amount due. Once the Secretariat has received the account, CEPANI proceeds to the payment.
